Do you think she will go back to her native country or stay in the United States?
3. Read about Vandi
What was the push factor for his family? Where did they move first?
What does Vandi think about American schools?
Contrast Vandi's home in Liberia to his house in the United States.
What is a staple in his diet? Does your family also eat that food?
Compare and contrast the holidays he discusses
4. Read about the other children.
Can you relate to anything in their stories? If yes, what do you relate to?
Do you think they are happy about immigrating here? How do you know?
